Today is independence Day - happy birthday America.Looks like we'll be spending the day in 2 places - for a while we'll be hanging out with the Lines in the Newport Shores (Bellevue). Their independence day program offers everything from the "dress up you pet in patriotic colors" to the "mailbox decorating contest" to "apple pie tasting" and "rubber duck races" - think this is as good as it gets, when it comes to showing Dad what the US is really like... Later we'll come back to my place and walk down the hill to where we can enjoy the official Seattle Lake Union Fireworks
